What we collect
Only what you choose to send us when you call, email or use the callback form: your name, phone number, town, and what you tell us about your fireplace (the job type, symptoms, fuel, urgency, best time to call and any details you add.
Our website host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run and secure the site. We don't use advertising trackers.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages bring in calls. It records the pages you visit, your browser and device type, the site that referred you, and clicks on our phone links and callback form, using cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use it
- To call you back, work out which parts to bring, schedule the visit and give you a price before any work starts.
- For Hearth Care and other service-plan members, to send the annual service reminder.
- To keep the records a business needs to keep.
Who else sees it
We don't sell, trade or rent your personal information. Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, our website host, and forwarded to us by email; Netlify doesn't use them to contact you. Analytics data is processed by Google. We may disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to comply with a legal process.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as we need them to respond to you, provide the service and keep normal business records.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
