Gas Fireplace Service in Beaufort, NC

Historic-district fireplace work, planned around the exterior.

White birch gas log set burning in a newly installed fireplace

Beaufort is one of the oldest towns in North Carolina, and its historic district has rules that shape how a fireplace job gets planned. Usually the hard part is the vent termination. A direct-vent unit has to vent somewhere, and on a protected facade we have to settle where the terminal can go and what it can look like before anything is ordered. On one install the only workable route added two days and a roof penetration to what looked like a half-day job, so we'd rather work that out with you up front. Outside the district the work is more conventional, and the salt air gets the same corrosion check we do in Morehead City.

What that means for Beaufort homes

  • Vent-termination planning for protected facades before any equipment is ordered.
  • Salt-air corrosion inspection on every call, as in Morehead City.
  • Same-day service at the eastern end of the Hwy 70 corridor.
